Q: How do I place an order?
A: Look at the list of items on our website and fill out the form. Once submitted, Got Baby! Got Gear? will give you a call to confirm your order and take your credit card info. Not a big fan of the computer! No worries. Give us a call at (505) 259-9859 and we will take your order over the phone.
Q: I will be flying into Albuquerque, but will not be staying in the Albuqueruqe metro area, can I still rent items from Got Baby! Got Gear?
A: Absolutely! We will gladly meet you at a pre-determined destination (within the metro area) for drop off and pick up. Most items will be available for rent, however Got Baby! Got Gear? cannot rent out items that must be assembled by Got Baby! Got Gear? (ie. cribs)
Q: Are reservations required?
A: No. However we recommend booking in advance to ensure the equipment you would like to rent is available.
Q: Are there minimum orders?
A: There isn't a minimum number of days that you must rent gear, but we do have a $25 minimum rental charge.
Q: How do we obtain the gear we are renting?
A: Got Baby! Got Gear? will deliver and set up your baby gear to the hotel, or private residence prior to your arrival. In addition, if you are arriving via Albuquerque International Airport, we can also deliver your car seat to the car rental facility. In the event that you will be staying outside one of our delivery areas, Got Baby! Got Gear? will meet you with your gear at a pre-determined time and location.
Q: How does the gear get returned back to Got Baby! Got Gear?
A: Got Baby! Got Gear? will have your dates for departure. At that time, Got Baby! Got Gear? will pick up all equipment. You don't have to do anything.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept debit cards, as well as Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards. Cash and checks are also accepted, however we will still take a credit card number as a security deposit. Forty-eight (48) hours prior to delivery, Got Baby! Got Gear? will charge your card.
Q: If I need additional items, can I place an additional order?
A: Absolutely! If these items are ordered prior to delivery, you will only be charged for the cost of the rental. However, if delivery has already taken place, there will be an additional charge of $15 (Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, Placitas, Corrales) and $25 for the East Mountains, Santa Fe, Belen, Los Lunas.
Q: What about your equipment? How is sanitized and maintained?
A: All gear is sanitized and checked for defects twice before you receive the item(s); once when the item is picked up from the previous renter and again before it is delivered for your rental. Got Baby! Got Gear? believes in being kind to the environment. Our disinfectant is "green" as is our detergent, meaning each is free of dyes, perfumes and other potentially unfriendly ingedients. In addition, we register all our products with the product manufacturers so as to be aware of any recalls.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: You can cancel your order 48 hrs before your delivery date to avoid any charge to your credit card. Any cancellations after this grace period will result in a 50% charge to your credit card.
Q: Do you install car seats?
A: No. We are not authorized to install car seats. However, all product manuals are available upon request. You can also could stop by a local fire station for assistance.
Q: Can we pick up the gear ourselves?
A: Sorry. In order to ensure quality service, Got Baby! Got Gear? must deliver and pick up the gear ourselves.
Q: Do you have a minimum order and/or delivery fee?
A: Our minimum order is $25 (not including delivery fees). There is NO fee for delivery to all parts of the Albuquerque metro area, including Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, Corrales, and Placitas. Delivery to the east mountains and other communities to the east of Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Algodones, Eldorado, Belen and Los Lunas will incur a charge of $20.
